StrawberryJamz! Radio attended the "On Our Radar" show presented by Closed Sessions.  It was a full house at Schubas Tavern, 3159 N. Southport Ave., as some of Chicago's most buzz-worthy artists took to the stage.  Joey Purp of Savemoney, Lili K, Saba of Pivot Gang and more.

This weekend-long show paid tribute to independent artists in the city.  Although from New York, Neo-soul/hip-hop band, Phony Ppl graced the stage with their smooth vocals; had everyone in the venue screaming.  Saba of Pivot Gang performed tracks from his upcoming project Comfort Zone  one of which is titled, "United Center".  His energy circulated the room as everyone sang "United Center" in (almost) perfect harmony.

Aside from Phony Ppl making all the ladies go a little wild, Lili K held her ground as the only female artist to hit the stage.  She performed "Interlude" from her most recent project, My Favorite Things, and gave the crowd something real familiar by covering soul hit, "Just Friends" by Music Soulchild.

The weekend was long and full of excitement.  Check out Lili K performing "Never Ever":
