When you think of classic Hip Hop, Chicago artist Feso's name will start being added to that mix. I met 

him at a Hip Hop forum and for a young person he speaks wise beyond his years. He brings an honest flow with a mixture of jazz and the old school hip hop bounce that makes a dancer want to break and a DJ want to scratch.

Some of my favorites from the tape is Environmentally Friendly with it's honest let back lyrics and Shouts and Digiorno reminds you of the old jazz era with a little bit of that Jay-Z RocBoys flavor.

Overall, I give the tape 4 1/2 out of 5 strawberries for a classic album and original music. Only thing missing is MORE music. It feels like a tease with their only being eight songs on the tape. But it definitely makes you want more.

While FeSo is currently working on two new projects, he recently performed at Elastic Arts Foundation in Chicago. During his set FeSo performed "Insomnia (Put 'Em Up)" off his EP Don't Sleep.
