WhatImJamminOnTheiPod: The Resume
It's finally here! The highly anticipated album/mitaxpe by Chicago's own Rotimi The Resume has finally been release for those heart-throbbing fans who've been watching him post videos and behind the scenes footage of him in the studio working hard on the album.
I must say the music lives up to the hype. He has a smooth melodic tone that reminds you of an oh so familiar artist by the name of Mario. Yet, he stands on his on grounds with a Chicago swag and a universal sound that is sure to bring him longevity in the game.
This is definitely a tape the guys can blast and the ladies will love; from the club banger Bottles ft. Gucci to the babymaking record Red Light Green Light. Other features include Dawn Richard (Diddy-Diry Money/Danity Kane), Lou Will, and DJ Boi Jeanius.
I give this tape 4 1/2 out of 5 strawberries for good R&B that you can rock from the club to the bedroom. Everything from the packaging to the production is nowhere near amateur. The only negative I would say is just to see what more he can bring to his sound to make him out-stand the rest because has sounds similar to what is already out. I know he has more up his sleeve and this is only a taste of what we can expect. For the first mixtape though, AMAZING!
