It seems like a lot of our favorites are coming out of hiding in 2013. This week a few of your favorite artist who've been taking a small break came back to entertain your ears. Check out new music from Tweet (Opps! Oh My) and Shawnna (Getting Some).

The last time I heard this soulful hummingbird was last year when she did an in-studio performace of Angry Girl with Chicago's own Selena Johnson. Now, Tweet is back to making music and preparing to release her “Simply Tweet” EP on February 26th. Check out the latest release from the project.















Since separating from Disturbing The Peace and doing her solo thing as a female MC, Shawnna has been tag teaming with a lot of Chicago's upcoming from rappers to singers and producers. This time she collabs with hitmaker and rapper Mush Million$ to bring this smooth banger. Definitely something for the ladies but the fellas will enjoy as well.
