After meeting in middle school, TreStyle, Young Rel, The Boy Illinois and RiP (manager) soon discovered, they were four guys who loved hip-hop more than their peers. After entering high school, they dubbed themselves “The Free Agents” and quickly built a reputation for chewing up and spitting out anybody who contested them. In 2003, the group released their first mixtape “Free Agents” introducing themselves as Chicago newest hip-hop team. Honing their crafts ever since, the group has never lost sight of their dream.
