Strawberry Spotlight: Roshawn Lyles

 

 Hailing from Chicago, a city known for breeding some of R&B's biggest and brightest stars, Roshawn Lyles, 24, is a talented singer/songwriter/producer who has literally dedicated his life to the pursuit of his dream.


R&B Entertainer of the Year at the 28th Annual Chicago Music Awards, Roshawn Lyles and his former group Kwiet Storm has garnered over 5 million hits on Myspace alone; most recently embarking on their own 90 city promotional campaign generating a fan email list of close to 2 million; executive producing their own music video which has received close to 400,000 views, averaging 100,000 views monthly on Myspace TV, while receiving strong radio support from several key markets in the United States and abroad.

"Red Light" was also featured as the Number 1 download on Digiwaxx.com for 3 straight weeks with over 3400 downloads in September of 2009. In August of 2010, roshawn was a radio star finalist for the Steve Harvey 8th Annual Hoodie Awards in Los Vegas. Performing in front of thousands, roshawn rocked the stage singing his favorite song by Stevie Wonder.... Knocks Me Off My feet.
