MMs: Aaliyah's Album in the Making

Music Mondays

Aaliyah may be gone but her legacy lives on.  She still gains respect for her innovation in the Hip Hop and R&B world.  Rather it be your local radio station or your personal playlist her music is constantly played.

After Aaliyah's latest piece, "Enough Said" featuring Drake and produced by 40  hit the web a few weeks ago, the song is a complete reminiscence of what her fans have missed; her soft and soothing voice is pure R&B.

Many concerns and rumors were addressed on whether or not Missy Elliot and Timbaland will be involved in the project.  It would be the respectable thing to do since Timbaland and Missy were the brains  behind what we now remember of the star.

After Timbaland expressed his concern about no one from Drake's camp contacting him, word around the web is that Timbaland will produced two tracks on the upcoming album.

However Missy Elliot tweeted that she had no idea of  the posthumous project when a fan expressed his concern. Hopefully, all three parties can come to an agreement in finishing an album that is sure to be nothing short of amazing. Although the project is being headed and executive produced by Drake, the original crew (Missy and Tim) as well as the family should be able to put the final stamp of approval to it.

Check out the first release that will be featured Aaliyah's completed album.
