One Year Later: What Has Changed?

Today marks the one year anniversary of the horrific death of Derrion Albert. A Chicago teen, who would have been  a senior this year, was brutally beaten near his school on the Southside of Chicago showing both the nation and the world how serious the violent epidemic is on our youth. Since than, marches, protest, letters, and concerts have occurred. But what has truly been solved? Since the death, 250 CPS teens have died plus 13 recent deaths that occurred since the new school year started (which was September 7th).

We need to change people. Obviously what we are doing is not working. Tomorrow, September 25th at Saint Sabina 7801 S Throop St starting at 1pm will be a Remembrance event as well as Q&A of what we can do to change this violent epidemic. Check out the video that still has people talking.
